Architects' Journal feature G&H's modular system
Last modified 15.06.09
It's been almost a year since the completion of Uxbridge Central Travelodge, built by G&H and the first hotel to use shipping container technology in its construction, and the interest in this innovative modular system still continues.
The UK's leading architecture magazine, Architects' Journal ran a four-page feature on the Verbus System and its use in the hospitality industry.
Mark Allies, Managing Director at G&H Group comments:
"Since the launch of Travelodge Uxbridge, we have been inundated with enquiries from all over the world and from a wide range of industry sectors. Now that this system has been used by such a prominent company like Travelodge, I think people can see the system's massive potential to save time and ultimately, money. Those values apply to any business and so it's understandable that we have received enquiries for student accommodation, prisons and even care-homes."
